HMS Colombo was a C-class light cruiser built for the Royal Navy during World War I. She was part of the Carlisle sub-class of the C class. HMS Colombo launched on December 18, 1918 in Fairfield Shipbuilding.  In June 1919 to 1926 she joined the Eastern Fleet in the Far East, she was reassigned to the United States and the West Indies waters.
